Tara Gilesbie's infamous Harry Potter fan fiction, My Immortall, Is available for purchase at Amazon.com.

I can't believe it. I mean...Just...How?

Seriously, how on earth did THAT get published?

For those of you who can be bothered reading this and don't know who Tara Gilesbie or what My Immortal is, I shall explain.

My Immortal was posted to Fan fiction.net in 2006, by Tara Gilebsie, under the user nameXXXbloodyrists666XXX. It is a Harry Potter fan fiction that centres around "Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way" (Although, the author often spells "Ebony" as "Enoby, Eboby, Evony" Etc, etc)
Ebony is a "Goffik Satanist" Slytherin in her seventh year a Hogwarts. She is part vampire, Part witch. She is cursed with being too beautiful.
The characters are all divided between "Goffs", Posers and Preps.
Majority of the males are in love with "Enoby", but she only carries those feelings for Draco, and Once or twice, "Vampire" Potter (Or, as he was once known "Harry" Potter)

The character are so out of character it is shocking. Ebony is a very obvious Self-insert Mary-Sue. The worst Mary-Sue I have ever come across. Occasionally, towards the end, She accidentally begins to refer to "Ebony" as "Tara".

It is unknown weather Tara is a troll, or actually serious.

It is fairly hard to understand, but has some Brilliant lines in it. Tara's Authors notes are often incredibly amusing, also.

No one actually gives reviews without wanting something in return! Its stupid! A typical response to a very plagiarised story where all the characters are Mary-Sue's and its just...bad!!

Its so annoying and fake!
It has inspired me to stop giving (Almost) only praise reviews. I usually do this because 1) I like the story or whatever but don't want to insult the person by pointing out their mistakes.
2) Because I can't find anything wrong with it
3) Because I don't want to upset people.
4) If its bad, I don't usually review it.
But, Booksie has made me re-think this. Now I will give good (I hope) reviews. As in, saying what was good and what was bad. Constructive criticism. What do you think?

Oh, I designed some earrings! Impossible to make, but I want them!!!!!!!! I will post the drawing on devaintart sometime soon...

Constuctive critcism

Okay, I actually got this idea off a pick in the writing section of fanpop. The question was actually kind of trivial. It was "Do you prefer constructive criticism, praise or a bit of both?"
It got me thinking. I always say that I prefer constructive criticism (Concrit), but when I get it I'm like "...awwwww..."
When I get praise, I am really happy. I also tend to like that person much more than someone who actually wants to help me improve my writing. Therefore, I guess I like praise more.
But, As much as I like it, praise isn't gonna get me anywhere in anything I want to do (Writing, singing, etc.). It will just end up giving me a big head and I'll end up just making the same mistakes over and over again. I won't improve and I won't be ready for knock-backs when I finally finish a novel and send it off to publishers. Which I will do. So, I think I'd probably prefer constructive criticism. As much as I don't like it now, I know it will help me in the long run.
So, Constructive criticism it is!
Hm...If I don't like constructive criticism much, I hate to think what I'd think if someone flamed my work. I think I'd cry!
Same with my drawings, although, I'm not as passionate about art. Its not really my thing, but it is fun!
So, which do you prefer (If there is anyone actually bothering to read this :-p)? Constructive criticism, praise or flamers? Or all three??

I have also been writing fan fiction. I consider that more writing practice than proper stuff. Its actually really fun. I really enjoy it! But, I have been all out of idea's, especially for the Skunk fu! stuff. If anyone, anyone at all is reading this, If you have a suggestion or request for me to write, I'd love to hear it!
I have only posted one original story online. Its a very short one and I wrote it as a challenge maybe...a year ago? Something like that, anyway. Its on booksie. My user name on that is the same as Devaintart, fanfiction and...something else. Its just my first and last name. So, If anyone wants to check that out, feel free too. There is only three and a half episodes on youtube, but I have decided that I love that show again! I think I was, like, eight when It was last on. hehehehe...a bit under the target audience age...
If anyone knows where I can see the episodes again without downloading stuff, I'd love to know where. I especially want to see episode 16!!!!!

Also, I want another season of Skunk fu! So, everybody email t.v networks and beg them to order more seasons. Don't quit until they give in!!!! I won't :-D their gonna get quite sick of me, I think...hehehehehehehe...

This is my blog in all its glory! And this is the first ever post! Yay!
As its the first post, I may as well introduce myself.
Hello, I'm Bridget *Waves* I'm a Scorpio and I live in Australia.
I have blonde hair that goes down to my waist, blue eyes and am average height.
I like writing stories, mainly fantasy, and recently have been introduced to writing fan fiction. I like reading, singing and drawing as well.
My favourite shows are Skunk fu!, Ace Lightning, Class of the titans, King and Jane and the dragon. My favourite movie is Moulin Rouge!
My favourite books are the Twilight saga, The host and the Da Vinci code.
I like listening to Evanescence, Silverchair, Aqua and a whole heap of other stuff! Yay!
